My goal is to provide reliable, thoughtful care while keeping expectations clear and fair for everyone. The following policies outline how I work and what you can expect when trusting me with your pets and home.

For households with three or more dogs requiring individual walks, a minimum of 15 minutes per dog is required.

Payment is required before or at the first visit. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, PayPal, and Venmo.

Home Access

For reliability and security, clients must provide two independent forms of entry, such as:

• Two duplicate keys

• One key and one access code

• Two separate access codes

All keys and access information are kept secure and confidential. Keys or codes may be retained for ongoing services.

Cancellations and Changes

• Visits canceled by a client with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable

• For block visits, no refunds or credits are issued for changes made after the first visit

• Any additional visits added during a block period will be billed accordingly, with payment due at time of scheduling

If I must cancel a paid visit, you will receive a full refund or credit.

Substitute Care

If I am unable to provide services due to illness or emergency, I will notify you as soon as possible. When feasible, a substitute sitter may be offered.

Inclement Weather

In cases of severe or unsafe weather, including extreme heat, storms, snow, or ice, pet safety comes first. Visits may be adjusted to:

• Shorten or modify outdoor activities

• Substitute indoor play or bathroom breaks

• Shift timing when necessary

I am not responsible for delays or changes caused by weather conditions beyond my control.

Emergency Care

If a pet becomes ill or injured, I will make every effort to contact you. If you cannot be reached, I am authorized to seek veterinary care at your preferred or emergency veterinarian.

Clients must have a valid payment method on file with their veterinarian and notify the clinic in advance that I may act on their behalf. I do not pay veterinary expenses out of pocket and am not financially responsible for treatment costs.

Liability

I am insured as a pet care provider through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.

I take reasonable precautions to care for your pets and home. I am not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or damage unless caused by negligence or willful misconduct.

Clients are responsible for disclosing any known medical, behavioral, or safety concerns before services begin.

Pets must be current with all vaccinations and preventative medications.

Ending Services

Either party may end services with reasonable notice. Specific terms may be outlined in a separate service agreement.
